2007 tacoma's...what's the difference?!?!

    my roommate has a 2007 tacoma 4cyl, 5 speed, single cab. It's like the base model. He really wants to lower it and do some light engine mods. He tells me that there is basically nothing out there (aftermarket wise) for him to get for his truck. Now, my questions are:

    Are the suspension parts from the older tacomas interchangable with the 2007's?

    Are the engine parts from the older tacomas interchangable with the 2007's?

    Are there any good websites with aftermarket parts for the 2007's?
