yes i know another check engine light question

ok guys so about 2 weeks ago my engine light went on so i went to auto zone and ha them get the code for me.

and code was p2441 and the read out said this "Air injection system switching valvestuck closed bank 1"

these are the probable "causes"

-Open or short circuit condition
-Failed VSV
-Failed pressure sensor
-Failed switching valve

i called toyota and asked them if they could possible tell me what they thought and the guy told me he cant give me any information i just have to bring the truck in a run a diagnostic.

so i know that the diagnostic reading from auto zone is kinda vague but has anyone else had this problem?

or is there any way to check the 4 "probable causes" to see if they have failed?

Edit- sorry i forgot to say what i drive,

2008 taco base model 2wd auto trans, i have knn intake, dt headers maybe they are part of the reason?

 

Call a different dealer and see what kind of response you get.

Try searching google a bit...use "Air injection system switching valvestuck closed bank 1" as your search criteria (I did).
