I don't think I've come across this here. Does anybody know about how much the 4.0 puts down to the wheels?

I know the rule of thumb is that about 20% of the rated hp/tq is lost to an auto drivetrain and about 10% in manual. Is that still true with todays automatic transmissions?

    Dyno anyone?

10% is awfully generous for a standard transmission. While slushboxes certainly have a lot of loss due to their nature, much of the loss also comes from the distance from the power source, weight of moving parts, unsprung weight, etc.

    Lots.
My guess is a little under 200whp stock. I want to jump on a dyno this summer but I think I could make 245whp maybe.

15%-17% is usually the case depending on how effieciently power is transfered. Manual isn't going to put down 10% more power though IMO. If I had to guess I would say that the RWHP would be right at 200.

All of the ones I have seen, have put down between 201 to 208 rwhp. Autos, and manuals.
