    hey guys i'm new to lifting up trucks and i have a few questions,My first question is what are the best lift kit for a reasonable price,comfort? How much do you guys think ill spend?Also i have another question i wanna make a straight pipe exhaust and cut it after the axel, how will that sound?Do you guys recommend i should just get the 3" toytec spacers?
    I have a 08 Tacoma double cab 2wd.

    If you can afford it don't use spacers.

    If all you can afford is spacers, then keep saving your money.

    Look at some The Ultimate lift kit is adjustable in the front. 1" to 3.5"

    The OME lift kit is also good but not adjustable. 3"

    alright im thinking of buying the bilstein 5100 but i dont know what springs to get?
    im looking for a 3" lift
    need some help

    If you want 3 inches, get the OME 885 springs with top plate spacer, and set the 5100s at the 0 or bottom setting.

    Or to get 2.5 inches then use the stock springs and set the 5100s at the 2.5 setting.

    Stock rim painted black with a 3" spacer lift and rear AAL (Add A Leaf)

    To have it to do over again I would have waited and did a true suspension lift...(struts and coils :) )

    Toyota's are awesome
    If you want to go with the OME gear, I would stick with just that OME.

    That means, both front shock and coil should be OME, that way your ride is the 'best' it can be on the OME spring.
