Tacoma truck- the best truck on the road. Reliable and gas efficient with power. It's a comfortable and classy looking vehicle. Able to climb trees in 4 wheel drive and smooth out any of the roughest road. Ahead of the competitors trucks in style and price. See you local dealer to talk about the option packages available.

Warning: windshield might make a whistling sound over 60 mph. Bed might bottom out with too large of a load. Radio might turn itself on and off, startling the driver and could create a hazardous condition. Radio might change stations on its own and the volume might not be able to be controlled. Theft of the tailgate is the responsibility of the owner. Base models have a two speed wiper. The floor mats and/or a sticky gas petal and/or electronic controls might cause the engine to rev and send the vehicle into high speeds which could cause sudden death.

    Still love my truck ;)

I have high acceleration everyday, but that is because I have a heavy foot. Can we stop these stupid threads or condense them all into 1?

anyone else see the guy on the news in CA that had to have CHP stop his Prius?
Something just doesnt seem right here. I think he just wants a new car and some $$$$$$$$$.
They play the 911 tape and the operater asks if he has tried to put it in neurtral and his response is I am trying to keep control of the car. Like placing the car in neutral will suddenly cause him to go out of control. Yet he is able to pull on the peddle, pull on the floor mat, talk on the phone and all of these other things and not go out of control.
    Something just doesnt sound right.

I got one today in the mail. Although it's not for my Tacoma, it's for the 2010 Matrix. They said on the letter - recall, acceleration pedal reinforcement bar. something like that. I also own a Chevy but that's besides the point. lol.

Did anyone watch the AP video on the prius acceleration in the Peoples Republic of California?
Did anyone catch when the 911 operator told the man too put it in neutral and he said he was too afraid it would accidentally go in reverse?
Unless you press the button, it won't go in reverse from Drive or Neutral. Don't these people even read the owners manual or know how to operate their vehicle?
Mans was of eliminating the stupid, I guess.

I've had an '08 PreRunner and now a '10 SR5 4x4, both had hooks for the floormats and weren't long enough to come close to the brake or gas pedal. Never had it accelerate or not stop when I didn't want it to.
I don't want another vehicle, but if I did, I probably would have one of these problems and accidentally hit a tree or something.
