You cannot go back without serious fabrication for the hole you cut in the front cross member, thats the main thing that people want to stay away from with a drop bracket lift. Also people say that the drop brackets are not the best quality, i have never seen or experienced this but its what people say. You will lose gas mileage, have more expensive tires to replace, and have less power along with the larger tires

I have it on my 2005 4x4 DC. I love it. The ride quality is fantastic, havent had one issue with it and I have 100,000 miles on it. I'm currently running 315/70/17s and get about 15mpg.

thats a compelling reason to do it right there.. 100,000 miles and no issues wow! i already have moto metal 957s in 17x9 with 265 70 17 tires. im sure ill want to get bigger tires at some point. im getting 17-18 mpg now.

If i were you i would go with the stage 2 not the stage 1. go with with the Coil over instead of the plastic spacer. There is the gas mileage ... but your are lifting you truck not for gas mileage. I think they look awesome lifted instead of stock.

Ya, I love these trucks lifted 6 inches. I have the 957's too! I really like them, and I only know of you and one other truck with the black ones IIRC.

Thanks for the thumbsup! I love the stage II, rides so much nicer than when I had my other coils, they were much stiffer.
