I'm just trying to figure out if I really have the offroad model or if I have the sport.

My 06 looks like a sport with painted bumpers and grill, and scooped hood, but I have the TRD Offroad sticker on the bed.

I bought the truck used so it is possible that the previous owner replaced the sticker.

Has anyone heard of a Offroad model with the cosmetics of a Sport?

    Thanks - Jason

Check that. The previous owner may have just switched everything out to make the appearance of a sport, but if it has the locker, than yes it is a TRD off-road.

It's amazing how often this comes up. I wonder if it is being done to get a few bucks more over a PreRunner or if it is being done for looks.
