Pros n Cons your opinion of removing sway bar

Im thinking of removing my sway bar and would like to know who has and what the difference is with on and offroad driving. I live in the mountains very curvy terrain and uneven pavement . .What do yall think about it

 

How do i do this never heard of it how big of a job?

yea i did some research on it .most that have taken it off like it off .seems to be a simple task i havent really looked at it im sure it wouldnt be a problem . i have a spacer lift and it made the ride stiffer so ill probly take it off and leave it off but maybe not gota try first i guess i think ill be o.k.

 

Have you found quick discos yet?? Cause I don't know of any that work with the 2nd Gen sway bar...

As long as you understand what you are doing and take some time to get the new feel of your truck you'll be fine with removing it.

 

yea i cant find any quick doisconnectors yet seem to be plently for other vehicles but havent found 1 4 a second gen yet

 

If you have a 3" lift with stiff coils, I would consider it. If you are running pretty much stock setup, or most of your driving is highway, I would leave it on. I am running OME w/ 885's and took mine off awhile ago. The 885's are pretty stiff, so pretty much no body roll and front can now work independently from each other. It feels so much better now. Real easy to take off, but a second hand to help snake it out from the wheel well really helps.

 

the front coils are pretty stiff im gonna give it a try next week on spring break should have my wheels and tires here by the end of next week got 33in mud country but the company is waiting on a shipment of wheels.

 

I offroad quite a bit thats the point lol . .lots off hunting and fishing in ruff spots and just like to 4wheel
