Has anyone removed factory seat fabric for leather??

Just curious I was looking at some skins on eBay for some black leather! I bet the black would look really good in the cab! Anybody done this? Thanks!!

i had it done on mine. I would just find someone localy to do it.
just call the dealership, and ask who they recommend to install
leather. when i bought mine, the dealership set my truck off and
had it done. got heated seats and all. it was 1,200 less than if
i ordered my truck that way.

i don't have any experience with either. they both look great. i'd try to find someone with each and ride in their truck to see which you like best.

If she doesn't have black up for auction, just bid on another auction and send her a message telling her you want to custom order black ones. She is very responsive to emails. She custom ordered mine from katzkins, took a few days longer but was worth it.

I would say they are both comparable, I have dealt with Katskins before and I have the Pecca kit in my Tacoma. Mine is the gray but for the complete DC kit(F&R seats, headrests, and door skins) I paid $180 shipped off ebay and could not pass it up. If you are paying close to what Katskin charges I would order directly from them and get a two-tone gray/black setup.

Also, don't pay someone to do it. The first seat took me about 2-3 hours, the next took me about an hour. Once you see how it's done it goes pretty quick.
