I've search on the site but, I can't find the what I'm looking for...so, maybe I can get some help here.

I'm ordered a 2010 Tacoma (SWB) and it says it gonna have a roof rack on it. Can I remove the rack? would it leave holes? Any info on this. Thanks.

Yes you can remove it. You will need new roof moldings. The roof rack screws on. So yes there will be some holes exposed but you can easily cover them up before placing the new pieces on top of them. I added mine on. You can probably find someone here that wants to install one that you might be able to buy their existing molding. Just a thought.

How much do the moldings run? btw, your truck looks good with them, maybe I'll leave them on.

Haha. Thanks. It's all in how you accessorize it. Gives it a sportier look IMO. I'm not sure on the price, but I last heard around $80 a side but don't quote me on that. Call a stealership and ask for the price and part number then search online for a lower price if you're gonna go that route for sure.

It does look sportier, it might stay then. :)

If you change your mind, I just installed the rack on my truck this weekend, and took care to remove the molding so that it could be reinstalled if/when I decided to remove the rack. After seeing it installed though, I doubt I'll ever remove it, so I could give you the molding for little more than the cost of shipping if you're interested.

Sometimes it helps to have the install instructions for the roof rack to see what would be involved in reversing the process. I have a pdf of the install instructions attached in my post here:
