Probably about 800 or so. In July or August I'm dropping another 5,400 on it all at once

I could care less how much it depreciates. I'm going to have fun with my truck.

    Who bought the truck?
    Who pays the insurance?
    Who pays the vehicle tax?
Who pays for your electricity, water, sewage, waste, internet access, cell phone/landline?
    Who purchases your groceries?
Who pays the rent/mortgage on your housing?
Do you have 6 months of living expenses in savings?
Are you saving adequately for retirement?

If all this is out of your pocket, well, good on you. Otherwise, tread carefully...it's easy to spend a lot of money on stuff when your existence is funded by others.
