:mad:Well, the front u-joint decided it wanted to come and party a day early! yes, that's right, driving down a main drive I hear a loud bang and then all kinds of huge vibraton underneath the cab and not to mention we were in a tornado/hail warning at that time. I was not happy to say the least and my truck is a 2005 with 87,116 miles on it and I had a thought that my u-joint should be covered under the warranty.

I called the local Toyota delaership the girl in the service department asked me for my vin number and she said she could not find anything. Then I asked her to trasnfer me to a service writer (Brian). Brain was able to pull up my warranty and he was upset because he said the original owner had only the 5-year/60,000 mile warranty and I insisted that the dealership I bought the Tacoma from said it came with the extended 100,000 mile warranty. Brain put me on hold for one of the longest 5 to 10 mintues I have had in sometime and said well, your warranty runs out on August 26, 2010 and oh ya, it has a 5-year/100,000 mile warranty!!!:D

That was the best news I have had in sometime and when I had the tow truck company (which Toyota is paying for all the repair, parts and having the truck towed:D) to the truck to Toyota, I took Brian up-town and purchased him a case of Michelob lights in a bottle for going the extra mile and finding my extended warranty; I thought this was the least/best thing I could do for his help or what are your thoughts on what I did for Brian???????
