Short Wife/Girlfriend Driving?

My girlfriend is kind of petite... Like 4'10". She does like my truck!

I realized, however, that if we're on a road trip, it'd be nice if she could drive, so I started teaching her how to drive stick.

Problem: She can barely reach the pedals, even with the seat totally forward. Anyone else dealt with this or have any ideas?

I don't want to get pedal extensions or anything permanent, because I'm almost always driving it. I told her to get driving clogs as a joke.

 

Pedal extension may be the only safe way to go, if she gets any closer to the steering wheel she may be too close to the airbag.

 

Taller girlfriend

 

Cut a hole in the seat and remove the stuffing, then velcro a chunk of 4x4 timber to each pedal...actually I'm not much help, first thing that came to mind.

 

have her get that japanese leg extension surgery. ill try and find a link for you

Id be careful about her sitting too close to the airbag...

and at 4'10" arent you legally suposed to ride in a booster seat? Isn't that what those commercials keep telling us???

I was hoping I could help as a female, but I'm a bit taller. If she does drive make sure she's not too close to the steering wheel, and it's not good if her knees are real close to the dashboard.
