Anyone bought cheap floormats?

I am in the market for some vinyl or rubber mats but really cant see forking out the money some weathertechs or something equivelent and was wondering if anyone is using the mats you buy from walmart or autozone...the $30 ones that you have to trim to fit your vehicle? If anyone has tried these how do they fit? Thanks

 

I bought some from WalMart for around 20 bucks and they suck. Been in truck for 5 months and have huge holes in them..The good ones are worth the extra $$$

 

I bought the sams club kraco brand for $20 and I like them. Doesn't cover as much as stock mats but my truck doesn't stink from the rain. I cut them to fit the front drivers side. There's some gap there but a lot better than getting the pedal stuck on the stock floor mats, which are thin and flimsy anyways.

 

had cheap ones in old truck had to replace every year with wear, just bought weather techs for new truck and worth every penny. i have even made money by selling to some co workers, pretty much they paid for rear mats. look around and think of it as a investment, if you want to keep your truck nice, if its a beater, go for cheap ones

 

Costco mats hold up for years and years. I've had mine for over 5 years (snow, mud, sap from firewood cutting, etc). They hold up very well. They both heavy and flexible. Driver's side requires trimming to fit around the left foot rest, and they don't extend under the gas pedal so you can throw them on top of the carpet mats (yes, I stack them) without worrying about interference with the gas pedal. Because of the heavy, flexible rubber and the trimmed area for the left foot rest, they don't slide around (thus you don't have to worry about the gas pedal issue others sometimes have).

 

I got some $30 mats from Pep Boys and they've been great, kept my carpet just as clean as an expensive set. Granted, they're not gonna be as a precise fit as Weathertechs etc, but if I can save $150 on floor mats, I can deal with these just fine. No holes either, they are a very thick rubber piece and I don't think they are gonna be worn out anytime soon.

 

I just transferred the old walmart mats from the old explorer and they were like 30 bucks. I am researching weathertechs but no time soon.

 

fork out the money for something that will last. In the long run you'll spend less.

 

Autozone cheapies. They are annoying how they always move around but I deal with it.

 

I did the $10 Walmart ones for a few months. Then finally coughed up the coin for some Weathertecs.

 

Got some weathertekkieish types from Sears & I really like them - @ $30.
