Just installed the URD short shift kit today in my 09 manual.

So awesome. With the shift kit, shifting is pure bliss. Feels a lot like my 6 speed Acura TSX.

I have always loved having a manual, but it's been three weeks since I've driven a manual and my chronic back pain has started to subside. Who'd a thought?

I'm surprised anyone buys a manual today... it's 2010 for God's sake :) I shouldn't have to do the job for the transmission - and it's not a Porsche. (and you tow?)

Be warned - IF you're planning on people using the backseats of an FJ, sit in them yourself before the purchase. They're almost useless.

Good luck in whatever you choose!

America is slowly getting to fat, lazy and casually injured(backs/legs) as a result to drive manuals. Agreed with the towing though, that must have sucked if you did it a lot. Congrats on the resolution.
