Strange sound from steering wheel.

Hi everyone. I have a 2009 Tacoma double cab 4WD TRD. I have a question I'd like to ask. When the vehicle is in park, spinning the steering wheel to the left seems to make a faint banging sound about every half turn. I asked the dealer about this and they told me that it was normal. I'm wondering if anyone knows about this or can answer my question. Thanks alot . Quan

I forgot to mention that maybe the clunking sound is coming from my steering column , rather than from the steering wheel. So if there's anyone else with some answers to my question will be greatly appreciated . Thanks alot

 

Not a clue man, welcome. It doesn't sound "normal" to me, I might take it somewhere else to ask.
