They say $450 on the site, but when you give them a call they drop it to $379. I forget why they do this, something about competition or marketing. ;)

more like little brother! everything on your truck is a +1 version of mine. Haha. 6" lift vs 3", solid trifold vs soft trifold, light bar, navi...ahh! I like your style. :D

This is just the price they put on their website. If you give them a call they are $379 and it cost me $18 to ship to Houston.

    From their Website:
"Specialty Products will no longer allow us to advertise a price lower than $450.00 for this product. Call us at (801) 395-2134 for the real price."

if you order your Ultimate Lift Kit from toytec and ask them to price match the UCA's from fatbob's for 379.00 they will do it.

Truck looks great. Did you get a discount on the Toytec purchase? Did you have kit professionally installed? How is ride? Why did you go this route instead of less expensive "spacer" lift?

^^^ Thanks man. I did get a discount on the lift, got the discount code here on the forums. (PM Neubs or ToyTec Lifts)

I would have done the install myself, but i didn't have the time. I work full-time and have extra responsiblities outside of work, so I sent the truck to get lifted. (Got ripped off too )

The ride is definitely stiffer, I can feel it most going over speedbumps or hitting potholes. On the highway it is slightly bouncier.

I went with the coilover + AAL over the spacer lift because I was concerned with the long time wear on stock suspension with the extra 3". I used to have a spacer lift on my '98 4runner because it's all that I could afford at the time, but now that I have the money, I wanted to go all out for it. I'm babying this truck :p. I don't plan to do too much wheelin, but like to have the ability to. (just like finely tuned sports car drivers will never drive 200 mph on the highway, but would like to have the ability to)

Very nice set up. How much trimming did you have to do?

i got it installed for $450. freakin ripoff if you ask me. they didnt want to quote me over the phone, but i went in and they told me $450 after i showed them the kit, UCAs, and wheels. i was pissed off but i had already had a friend bring me to the shop and i had to go right to work, so i bit the bullet. on top of that, they wanted to charge me $120 to swap the TPMS from the stock rims to my FJs . they also charged $50 for alignment, but since i had lifetime alignment with Firestone, i opted not to. turns out, Firestone doesn't do alignments to compensate for lifts/drops so i had to go BACK to the ripoff shop a week later and they said it would cost $125!!! I told them it was $50 when I got the install and they said that's impossible, "it's alot of work." Effin dicks. Got the to drop it to $75, the alignment was done in 15 mins. "alot of work" BS.

In short, don't go to PG Series/Trick Trucks in San Diego. rip you off like a mother.

    Thanks! :D

none! I don't get any rub at all under normal driving conditions. if i'm going through some rough terrain i'll get some rub when turning the wheel, and i get a very very minor rub when in reverse.

Any vibrations with the ultimate lift kit? I've been leaning towards this option as well but getting scared off with others reporting of vibrations at certain speeds. Did you install the diff drop?

Thanks for the write up. This is the first time I've read that the Ult Kit's ride is stiffer than stock???? Are you unhappy w the ride quality? Any regrets, other than the install/alignment experience?

I'm going to tackle the install myself as I have access to an awesome step father and hoist at his house. I think we can do it in an afternoon. Then I'll head to Les Schwab and get tires (P285/70R17). I've opted to keep my stock wheels for now, which of course commits me to 17" tires.

no regrets! i don't mind the ride quality at all...it was nice riding silky smooth on the highways, but would trade the looks of the lift and tires for that any day.
