New exhaust leak

just installed the TRD exhaust. There is an air leak where the two flanges meet. Any suggestions for a fix? Sealant of some sort.

for anyone who might care, I put some high temp gasket maker on the OEM gasket. Seems ok for now. A little concerned the direct heat of the exhaust might burn up the sealant.

When i put my TRD exhaust also bought the gasket so i did not not have any leaks. You might try changing the gasket.

That shouldn't be happening... Are you sure that there aren't any imperfections in the metal on each of then ends? If that is the case, no gasket will fix it.

everything looked as it should. When I installed the exhaust I used a new gasket also. Haven't checked to see if the sealant worked yet, been riding bikes around since the weather is nice.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Correct. A good idea when changing exhausts, is to clean the gasket mating sufaces with some fine grit sand paper before installing the gasket/s. A thin film of Copper RTV doesnt hurt either.
