I ordered my Pyrite Mica color matched TRD Sport grille from TW member forgotten1 through his website, WOTM.com, for $189 shipped.

I received the grille within several days of placing my order and I'm extrememly happy with it to say the least. The color matched perfectly and installation was a breeze.

Here are some quick cell phone pics of it installed (I painted the emblem flat black):

Thanks. The only thing left is the chrome rear bumber. I'm thinking of asking blackhawke88 to color-match it or I might just have it Line-X'd black.

I had the same concern when I debadged my black Tundra after 6 years. The 'ghosting' wasn't too bad but I had wished I'd done it sooner.

Luckily my Tacoma's not even 4 months old so, the color match is spot on between the body and the grille.

    Just do it.

I bought a color matched grille off ebay about a month ago for my truck, which is a 2005, and it looks great. Unless your paint is in really bad condition nobody is going to know the difference.

The paint is in great condition, and now that I think about it there was no color difference when I debadged my truck so I should be golden :woot:

Go for it. There's another member here who started a thread about a source for factory color matched Sport grilles for $175 shipped.

Always liked colormatched grilles versus leaving it black. The logo pops off, there are 3 clips that holds it in that you should be able to feel on the back side. Gently push on those clips while pulling the logo out.
