Location of Tailgate Emblems?

    Does anyone know (or would be willing to measure) the specs as to where the emblems on the tailgate lie? I had an issue with mine and need to now replace mine. I don not know where they sit any longer though. Any help is appreciated. The ones I have are Toyota Tacoma SR5 V6

    I don't have the measurements but a suggestion would be to put them back on in places that you think look cool. Before I debadged everything I had my "tacoma" right below the tailgate handle and it looked sweet!

    I can't... Otherwise I was going to paint them black and space Tacoma out along the very bottom of the tailgate... Whoever fixed my truck when a prevoius owner got in an accident used some type of glue that fused with the paint. I don't have $300 right now to get my entire tailgate repainted when I pry that excess glue off.
