Can I see some pics of your favorite off-road or prerunner bumpers?

I met a guy who claims he's built buggy's and has even made a long travel kit for his wifes Kia while he has hammered and she was sleeping. Hahahaha. He has a tube bender and welder of his own and has told me that if I wanted any work done that pretty much all I would have to pay for is the metal. So I want to see some pics of bumpers, both front and rear, for inspiration to figure out what I want exactly. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do for the front, but the rear is completely undecided.

And please, don't post ARB bumpers or anything like that. Mine's 2wd, I have no need for a winch or anything that will make my truck look like a tank. Steel tubing and skid plates...

^Very interesting. Looks good but not quite my style. Way too many lights for my taste too. I only want 3. Thanks for posting though. Nice looking tuck btw.

    Any more? Rear bumpers?

I've looked at yours before. Very nice. Thats more of what I like. I want a simple tube bumper with a hoop over the top to match the lines of the grill and 3 lights to go on it.

    This one is pretty... Haha

You're having something custom built. You can add or remove anything you want. :p

Tucked up tight and ties into my bed cage. Obviously not all of it is necessary for most but it might provide some ideas.

Thanks! When this one gets destroyed I'll replace it with something less intricate, but for now I'm pleased with how it turned out. :)

    Have at it.

I've seen a lot of details from my truck show up elsewhere. My personal favorite was when Total Chaos started selling their "FJ Cruiser & 05+ Tacoma Lower Control Arm Cam Tab Gussets" about two weeks after I posted the update showing the ones my fabricator made for my truck.

    :p

Makes sense, and I like that design too. My bar blocks the headlights a bit but provides the protection I needed. ;)

I am so pissed right now. For the past year I've been having HUGE problems with my alignment and the LCA cam adjuster tabs bending. I posted several threads on this and other sites, I've searched, I've asked people. No once did anybody mention anything about somebody that had something custom done or a TC Tab Gusset. Haha. Not long ago I had somebody weld a bead behing each of those tabs to reinforce it a little. Looks like I'm gunna have to get some gussets.

Yours is the solution most people go with. I was concerned about the LCAs because you can bend the stock mounts with a small hammer. Told my fabricator about that along with the alignment cam tab issue and this is what he came up with. I am beyond pleased with the solution. :)

Go for those gussets and you'll never have to think about the tabs again.

This is the type of stuff I was looking for. Definitely gives me some ideas. I really like how you did the hitch. I was thinking I wanted to incorperate a hitch in mine. No license place?

    MORE PLEASE!

...if I looked at the first picture I would have noticed that. It looks really good man. Don't you need light on your license plate? I was thinking I wanted to incorperate the license place in with the bumper using the origional plate lights.
And I was wondering how to install a hitch with it. Like are there and laws or rules to follow? Is it made of plain square tubing or do you have to but an approved hitch mount? What are the legalities of it?

SDHQ builds HANDS DOWN my favorite bumpers. The only aftermarket bumper that would be on my truck.

I've been looking at SDHQs stuff a lot. Very nice work. Too much sheet metal in the front though. And I don't like how square the upper light bar is.
