How Long for Special Orders

Going to the dealership today to order a Dbl Cab 4X2 SB with various options.

The question is: Has anyone had a special order, and if so, how long did it take?

Are we talking weeks or months?

There is no good answer. unless the truck is already on its way.
The dealer will tell you a ball park figure to get you to order it.
but a month after it was suppose to be delivered and now its delayed.
my cousin ordered a truck, and after a month later finally get his deposit back.

With the supply chain messed up due to the earthquake and tsunami, there's just absolutely no guessing. They might not even accept a special order at this time. See this other thread, and another one with a news story about how north american plants may start halting production.
