I have a 2wd 08 (no fender flares) but I would love to have some as I like how they look and I am also getting lots of rocks from my tires hitting the sides of my truck.

I would have to drill holes in my truck to make these fit? Would any adhesive / 3M products work? Or many just a couple bolts + adhesive / 3M? Has anyone ever atempted something like this?

I'm not sure if you have to drill, you might be able to use existing hole on inner fender already. But you should use some 3m tape on the part where it meets the outside fender to avoid any movement and possible scratches, plus it wouldn't hurt in the holding it place either.
