Anyone know what this is / does??

I was cleaning my interior today andnoticed this plastic clip in the shifter peice and that it pops up??

I also got this picture with everything off and was wondering if anyone has tried either outting 1 or 2 of these LED's for their shifter lights?

you better watch that little button its the ejection seat lol but no idea what that button does sorry

 

Look in your owners manual. I remember it being in there

 

the thing by the shifter unlocks the gear selector so you can put it in neutral without haveing the key in the ignition

 

I think it unlocks the shifter if it gets hung up in park, not really sure though...

It's so a tow truck could move your vehicle without the key.
