Unless you have met someone capable of driving that is handicapped... Well then...

I've wheeled with a guy who has lost the use of his arms, I must say I was quite impressed with his ability to drive, wheel and overcome his disability.

Might have been said already (didn't read through the whole thread yet), but it's possible that it's owned by someone who's spouse or parent is disabled.

I really don't see the problem with this though, because even if it is for the driver, why shouldn't be allowed to enjoy off-roading? Handicapped stickers are often issued because an otherwise healthy person has things such as back or joint issues that prevents them from walking the long distances from the far side of the parking lot. Sitting in a vehicle is arguably less stressful on the body, so it doesn't necessarily prevent them from driving.

Haha, can't say I've ever blocked anyone in, but I've flagged down a cop a time or two and pointed them in the right direction. I've done my share of dumb things behind the wheel in my early 20's, but three things I've never been able to stand are drunk drivers, people who speed in a playground zone, and people who park in the handicapped spots.

last i heard he needed at least 1 cane to walk

at least in SC, and im sure in every other state...handicap placards arent issued solely on physical viewable handicaps

there are a lot of people who can get them due to an allergy to the sun (forget the name) and the like
