I started to install my OME lift + driver side spindle today but I'm stuck on the spindle part :mad::mad:. I need some help. After alot of struggling, I went to auto zone and got a wheel puller to help pull off the hub so I could get the spindle off. BUT I CANT GET IT OFF. I was able to get it to where the axle is lose and moves back and forth in the housing, but I still have no idea how I'm going to get this spindle off.

Try this tip: Wind down the large nut until it sits flush with the bottom of the bolt. Take a hammer and hit up on the bolt. The nut will act as a large washer. Don't hit too hard though as you don't want to damage the bolt .

the nut on the axle? I already have the axle lose. Byt I think I may have been doing it wrong. Does the part that the lug nuts for the wheel come off or the piece directly behind it with four bolts connected to the spindle?

Also, how do you get the ABS sensor off??? I tried to pull it off for a while and got nowhere.

These thing don't have spindles. They have sealed bearings. You have to unbolt it from the knuckle and then either chisel it out or use a slide hammer. As for the ABS, there should be a retaining bolt on the hub. remove that and then CAREFULLY pry on it with a SMALL screwdriver. You can try tapping it with the handle of the screwdriver too.

EDIT: Wait, you are talking about the wheel bearing, right?

He's trying to get the spindle off. You shouldn't have to take the wheel bearing assembly off the hub (those 4 17mm bolts you mentioned between the hub and spindle). Here, check this out: It's for taking the hub off, but you should be able to see what parts you're missing. Also, for the speed sensor:

I was trying to take the hub off wrong I think. I'm going to go for the four bolts today.

On the second link for the ABS sensor, Ive tried disconnecting it, but it wont budge. Is it ok just to unbolt it?
