prerunner lift

not a big fan off the prerunner cause it makes people think your a tool when you lift one but its my time for a pavement pounder and im looking as big as possible without sas and im wondering if i can do 6inch drop bracket an 3inch spacer an 3 body without to many worries with stuff breaking or being retarded,would go 4x4 but dont have the time an money to keep replacing cvs and wheel bearing

 

other ppl will chime in later....but stay away from body lifts!

 

If you think a prerunner with a lift will make you a tool, then a prerunner with a body lift will make you the biggest tool in the box. Do it right and do a suspension lift and bigger tires. BTW I must be a tool cause I have a prerunner with lift and bigger tires. Besides, it's not what you drive, but how and where you drive it.

 

ha i dont think it makes you a tool but thats what i always end up hearing, an the only reason i want body is cause i always want bigger an i cant afford sas,i mean 18 an on your own with truck payment insurance an all my other stuff sas is out of the question plus if my father ever found out i went to a new truck with a torch id be dead haha

 

Go with new spindles to get the proper lift. Please....

 

Go big (and cheap) or go home, I guess. Definitely isn't something the majority here would do but if you like it, knock yourself out.

 

thats what i keep getting but with that idk know what to do to get new ones an what to get i mean i know yall hate these kinds of people but i want max lift with ifs it just drives me nuts idk i just got rid of my 97 with the 12 inch set up and i loved it

That shit is expensive, son! He appears to want to go a cheap(er) route.

 

If he wants a big ass lift he should have bought a cheaper truck so he could spend more money on the lift.

Personally I think a big ass lift is completely unnecessary as it seems as though the person doing it is usually compensating for something else. If you know what I mean? No offense intended just my opinion on the big ass lift.
