Anyone find the VSC more sensitive after tranny TSB reflash ?

Yes, Foot on brake - Shift to drive - foot off brake - give it the gas - starts to roll back and then grabs the gear. Happened twice waiting for it to happen again then I am going to dealer. Still waiting for them to get back to me about the spring tsb I asked them about.

 

Anyone else before I let this thread go to thread heaven for a couple years before someone tries to revive it ,

I have noticed the exact same thing you have. seems to be happening more and more often. Mine is an 09

Is this TSB for when you push the gas and the engine revs and your not in gear. Mine is doing this at low speeds. Even when I go around corners I come out of the corner and push the gas to go and it dosnt get into gear. Frustrating

 

Thats what its doing. Some times 1 or 2nd is engaged and its fine then some times I have to wait to feel it lock into gear then I can go.

 

Is this happening at rolling stops , usually from 1st to 2nd gear ? Like the tranny hangs in 1st and revs up too high before going up to 2nd ?

Yes like when you slow down to go over a speed bumb and then push on the gas and its not in gear just revs.

 

Yep , same issue , there is a TSB where they re flash the trucks computer with some new software to re calibrate the shift points , the shifting is way better afterwards , I'll find a link for you ,
