What is really costs to buy a new 2010 taco

Hi Folks,

I thought I would post what I have spent so for on my 4x2 2010 SR5 Tacoma with a 2.7 motor. As you can see.....it ain't cheap.

Out the door price including $350 license fee..........$19,991
AFE air filter................................................................$38.95
10 pack oil filter and plug gasket................................$48.50
4 extra wheels for snow tires...they were factory take offs with new factory firestone tires on them....................................$250
Scan Gauge II..............................................................$149
Undercover bed cover..................................................$670
Coverking seat covers from Costco..............................$169
6 quarts of 0-20w synthetic oil for first oil change.......$36
Uhaul trailer hitch........................................................$130

The grand total, more or less, up to this point.....$21,482.45

I still need a few things but I am getting close.

The truck is a month old now with 2000 miles on it. This is a great truck for an old fart. I especially like to bed cover. Gas mileage for combined city/freeway so far is 26.6.

The only thing that could be better is the 10 cent radio that came with this rig.

Let me know if there is anything else that is a must have that I forgot.

Wow, you paid $670 for your Undercover? Mine was $850 and I have the short bed

 

It is a plain Jane 2wd.

 

The list price was $750. $670 got the cover and installation. The installation took about 10 minutes.

I think the OEM bed mat is great. radar detector always a good idea.

 

Thanks, the bed mat is on my list now. The radar detector is out......I get a nose bleed if I go over 65mph.
