You guys think a chrome bumper could take rhynolining? I cant find anyone who wants to trade chrome for black!

Yes. If the bumper surface was scuffed, the rhynoliner would probably adhere to the surface.

If you want professional advice, make a quick phone call to a competent body shop. They can be a great source of knowledge.

Wonder how the black fenders would look on a radiant red taco? I got a friend that is trying to talk me into.

I herculined the chrome bumper on the wifey's truck, then rattle canned gloss black over it so it won't fade.

I did my whole truck in herculiner and then sprayed over it with NAPA industrial flat black. Doesn't look as good as the rhinolined rig, but I did it for $150 or so.

did you have to use a spray gun for the herculiner or does it come in a can like the rustoleum bed liner?

it will look really good if you do it right.

but all this talk about not getting scratched is bullshit. I have the spray on bedliner on my fenders and bumpers and bottom of my door and it has had some deep scratches on them. It will make it harder to scratch and can be touched up by spraying those spots with more spray on bedliner which actually blends in pretty well.

How much weight does it add to the truck? Looks amazing but seems like it would add alot of weight to the vehicle..

Mine is Line-X'd...the fender flares and rocker panels. I have since had the back bumper done to match but don't have any pictures of it yet - just had it done. I like it a lot - it does help with brush and such but I think it also looks nice!!
