    Whenever i drive i look for tacos... and i was driving behind one of these a while ago and was like TACO! because it was the first thing i noticed ( the black things ) and then i was like.... wtf? thats not a taco...

    Add to that "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" which would make the lines appear REALLY small and you've got a solid alibi. :D

    Nope, cheaper to stamp as separate parts and then tack them together with a rubber seal over them to keep water out. As an added plus when some of them are damaged during shipping/assembly you only have to handle that one piece for fixing rather than the whole cab.

    I'm verging on old fart status... if you're not careful crap just soaks into your brain over the years and you have no clue where it came from. Shows like "How It's Made" and "How Do They Do It" are usually what I blame... I can watch those for hours on end and never remember a thing about them until I read a post like yours.
