Just today a man came up to me in the parking lot and asked me if I wanted to trade his hood scoop hood for my standard hood. He told me that he hated the look of the scoop. Without thinking I said hell yeah! He told me that his truck is an 09, I have an 07, these will work for us both right? Please let me know!

I know, I could not beleive him. I thought he was joking at first. He just does not like the look of them and when he bought his truck the dealer did not have any with out the scoop. It is like Christmas for me. The hood is even the same color as mine. I NEVER get that lucky!

I can understand the guy's decision to trade. I don't like the hood scoop either. If I had one, I would have traded long ago, especially if I made a little money on top of the trade.

If it was functional, it would be sweet, but it's not. It's a big fake bump that does nothing. It's as worthless as a spoiler or a stuffed bra.

I'm not trying to be mean. I just don't understand all of the excitement.

    Let the shit fly.:crapstorm:

i love the look of my scooped hood, functional or not. but it is a b*tch when the afternoon sun hits it in a certain spot.

Yeah, I've heard that complaint. Which only supports my argument. I also imagine it would decrease visibility when wheeling over a blind ridge.
