    Prototype SGII Mount:

Plexiglass painted and clear-coated. Door edge protector on the top and bottom. No velcro, no holes drilled and nothing taped to the dash. Takes seconds to remove if need be. Wasn't using that part of the dash, so decided to put it to good use. Plexiglass not easy to work with. One day, when I re-due it, I will use the same method but with a thin aluminum plate and instead of painting, will use a carbon fiber film.

    Thoughts??

This is where I mounted mine. Quick, easy and out of the way. It does not get in the way of my knee when I get in or out.

To the OP, That is a very clean install, I love it!
x2 I think it would work on a 2nd gen too.

This is were I put mine aswell. Not as nice as the op's custom job (nice job!).
However it only took like 2 minutes to do and it is easy to read as I use it as a speedometer because my gauge cluster is in MPH instead of KMs.
