Yes, all on the same side. I havent done shit that I know of. Never jumped, never hit rocks or curbs hard, and it really hasnt been hard core off roaded. I am starting to get some bad luck with this truck and I would like it to stop.

Can you ask them to keep old parts and have a pictures of all of the broken parts. tell them it is interest on Toyota website. I would really like to see that. Did you travel through mud water? maybe thats how wheel bearing went out and took the hub with it.

Have a pictures for the resto of us curious folks.

I think they had the truck reassembled. But I am going to make sure I see it, especially if this part is as hard to break as they tell me. I will try to see it on monday

Thats what I thought too. The guy I have been dealing with never told me anything about a broken hub. When I was there today I talked to the guy who has actually been working on it and thats what he told me.

just ask if you can take a peak at it, and if you can talk with the actual tech about what could have happened, they for the most part are good people trying to do good work. it seems like you may have "shattered" a wheel bearing and the result of flying particals took out your abs, cracked the hub and axle seal especially if youve been riding on it.

just talk to the actual tech if possible, service writers can have miss communitcations alot, its like that telephone game you play as a lil kid

Ya I understand what you are saying 100%. I will try to do that when I go back in there.

As far as the bearing, they said it is only cracked, and the hub is cracked as well. So they still have no clue what tore up the seal and abs, just something foreign. The abs wasnt all that bad IMO, but then again I didnt know what it looked like to begin with.

Yea but something like that should have caused noise, loose end , clicking etc etc. So if none have been felt it is strange. I mean bearing is what holds the wheel. crack it and wheel no longer seats in right position.

my wheel held fine when my whole bearing race shattered, i just leaked diff fluid everywhere.

abs will occasionally go out, the more electronics the more susceptable to damage

but if the bearing is just cracked idk why the hub would be, you havent had any sudden loads or heavy loads?

Nope, havent done anything at all that would constitute a broken hub. I havent even off roaded it in a long time and I drive really conservative now.

For those of you that havent seen them, here are the pics from my damages. Noone has any explanation as to why I would have cracked it so I am still confused as hell.

You can see it right above the light reflection

my abs light recently came on so i brought it to the dealership cause my truck is 5k from expiring the 100k warranty. (lucky for me) they found the front passenger wheel speed sensor is bad, the bearing there is horrible too and now they are saying the axle got damaged from the bearing. i had no idea. there wasnt any noise or problem at all. what causes this kinda stuff and how do you avoid it? does going through deep water or mud do anything? thanks

also how do you know if there is a problem when it first starts so it doesnt cause any other damage?
