My power locks are only working on the passenger side and 2 back doors. The driver's side door won't work with the key fob or even with the button inside... I have to use the key in the door or manually push it to lock or unlock it. Is this common? I've never had problems with electric locks with any other vehicle before...
    Thanks for any info.

Possibly... It's less than 3 years old, but I've already gone past the miles on warranty, so I don't want to take it to the dealership and get robbed. I'm hoping it's something I can fix myself.

You can lock/unlock it with the key?

Yeah, start researching the *door lock mechanism* which should be inside the door itself.

My husband and I just replaced 3 door lock mechanisms on my mother-in-laws Grand Cherokee. They wouldn't lock with the keyless or buttons either.

Here's something to look at: Scroll down to 'front door lock assembly'

Does sound like the actuator even though its so new. You can take the door panel off to get to the actuator. Listen/look while pressing lock button to see if actuator is working. If no, then you can get a mutitestor and check to see if there is 12V at the actuator. if yes , then probably a bad actuator. Good Luck..
