    This is what insurance is for. If a thief wants your ride bad enough none of this will prevent them taking it or f-ing it up to the point your disabled anyway. If you are that worried about it, stay home or stay away from shady sides of towns. Thieves have gotten very tech savy & will have your ride loaded & gone b4 you know what happened. Just make sure you have propper coverage to compensate you. Or wire your truck to explode if tampered with; no one will miss the crackhead trying to steal it!:D

    In some areas you need to worry more about getting the catalytic converter stolen than the actual truck.

    Thank you. It took way too long to get to this (2nd page?) - 2nd gens come with engine immobilizers built in. If they don't have your key, it's no go. That said, I'm sure they can still tow it or break in and steal shit.

    Insurance and lock it up, park it in a well lit area, and as someone else mentioned, don't stay at a rathole. You'll be fine.
