Grillcraft black mesh/TOYOTA emblem pics?

I just ordered the the upper and lower Grillcraft black mesh grills. And also the OEM TOYOTA emblem part number is 75311-90K00 to mount on the front of the upper grill. I now have the stock chrome grill surround.

I may go with the color matched pyrite mica surround and paint the TOYOTA emblem silver or maybe paint TOYOTA pyrite mica to match the truck color.

Would like to see some pics of this mod with the TOYOTA emblem mounted on the front in both chrome and color matched grill surrounds. Hopefully, 28guage will be posting a few soon he got me going on this mod.

I have not pulled the trigger for the grille yet, so my opinion may be mute but..... I think the Toyota emblem in a flat black on the black mesh would look good. Put up some pics when you get it done, I've got the same color and would like to see your final product!

Its not a grillcraft...just some expanded metal and home made satoshi with my toyota emblem from the tail gate painted red to stand out

Tryin to find a place that will coloc match my grille at the moment

thanks, my emblem came off of a 1972 fj. i bought 2 emblems for 30 total
shipped. they were in bad shape, but i restored them. it is hard to tell in the photo but mine is color matched.

i attached it, by first getting where i wanted, and then used zip ties to hold it in place. i then flipped the grill over and gorilla glued it from the back. i tried the 2 sided tape, but my emblem had a slight bend to it, and it would not hold. it is also fairly heavy b/c it is metal.

i had the one you are getting as well, it was a little
big for me. being a huge dork, i actually had 3 diffrent emblems at once,
to compare. i had mine the oldest, another one from a 1976 model, and the one you have. i sold the other two sometime later on here, and basicly got mine for free.

i like the lower portion grillcrafts, but i am getting a bumper made by cbi offroad, so my factory bumper will come off. i am going to lift my truck
when it gets here. i am a accountant, and have been waiting for tax season to end so i can have a life. i have everthing already, icon extended travel shocks, 5100's for rear, tsb aal, and total chaos uca's.
just waiting another month or so, i will need new tires by then as well.
going to put 285's on.

Brian, (28guage) I have decided to use my chrome grill surround.

I like the contrast of chrome and black. I may tape off and paint the TOYOTA lettering met silver. I like the grillcraft over my own fab mesh grill, just looks cleaner to me.
