For my first mod I decided to ditch the OEM horns. I like the sound and small footprint of the Stebel air horn. Stebel is the original manufacturer of this style of horn. I looked at the knock-offs but they suffered in build quality and sound.

I removed the OEM horns and ran the wire harness over to the left. I used the right OEM horn attachment point for my ground and followed the OEM harness.

The Stebel is attached with a 5/16" bolt with inboard/outboard flat washers and a nylock nut. The horn is finished with a custom harness to the bottom electrical connections.

No problems with grille fit. No alterations necessary. OEM harness is still intact. I was able to use a spade connector and connect directly into the OEM harness.

Damn, I wish I could remember. I've had it for more than a year. Originally I was going to mount it on my bike, but I sold it. Anyways, I think I only paid like $35 for it.

Yes. I didn't want to cut up any OEM harnesses since the Taco is so new. Plus I noticed that a standard push-in blade connector would work on the OEM connector.

The only real issue was grounding, but I used the existing horn mount.

Make sure it's an original Stebel, not a knock-off. The Wolo brand sucks. There's another knock-off called "BadAss" something or other as well.

Might have to pick one of these up. Since relocating my horns, they sound really weak.
