No it'll fit with the stock bumper still. It does interfere with the sway bar though. I still have mine on but it's rubbed to hell and makes annoying sounds lol. Honestly I prefer the gen 1 skid and gen 1 bumper personally. The mounting positions look identical to me (though I never measured it but I can't see how it wouldn't work with the stock bumper).

They do include directions now. At the time I installed mine on the 2008 they didn't though. It is fairly straight forward but there are certain things that are good to know ahead of time :D

The first gen skid plate doesn't fit with the sway bar, and the 2nd gen is supposed to fit with the sway bar. But was def bummed when they told me it didn't fit with stock bumper

Er when I meant first gen vs second gen, I meant the revs of the allpro skids for the second gen tacos.

See I thought it would fit fine with the OEM bumper. I tried to call in and order it from All Pro and I was pretty much shut down when I asked if it fits with the stock bumper. The guy I spoke with on the phone said it doesn't fit with stock bumper and pretty much left it at that :(

It's served me well. This is the one on my 2010 (non sway bar one though.. I still have my sway bar on lol) after a run to Chiva and Box Canyon a few times with no lift (in fact, my front is lower lol). I've it hit dead on into granite under the truck at 15-20mph... several times. Slammed down on it a lot at 30+

They might not be the strongest on the market... but it's a good balance for weight and solid protection IMHO.

My 2008 was, yes. My 2010 is not. Though I do have the AP front bumper on this one. There's still nothing to interfere with the stock bumper though.

    Current 2010 truck:

Though the skid held up well for a hard hit like that:

I already have the AP bumper on. Going to put on the AP skid soon. Why did you mention that the skids should go on before the bumper?
