Hey Guys, this is my first post of hopefuly many on Tacoma Word. BUT FIRST I need to buy a Tacoma. That is why I am here, I am wondering what you guys would pay for this animal? I can get them down to 24k + taxes, I may be able to haggle more also. Please give me feedback. Thanks!!!

Well edmunds says $23500ish - KBB says $27500ish - kind of a big difference, I guess I should ask this way, is $24000 + tax a good deal, probably be like 25500 after taxes? Should I hop on this? Thanks dudes.

 

You could get a new one for around that price. I would push for lower price.

 

New here in Denver is about 29000 + taxes

 

I just paid 23K for an 07 trd sport dblcab v6 6speed with 35K on it & i'm happy - saw like trucks going for 25+

 

tell them 23,700 and they got a GD deal. haha

what prices are you taking from KBB? (Trade-in, PP, Retail)

I paid $25600 for:

08 DC/LB TRD Sport w 10K miles and automatic in perfect condition

Banks/Dealers/Auctions don't use Edmonds prices. Use KBB

 

Going off the dealers price on KBB - was the $25600 out the door or before taxes?

 

before taxes, but I traded my 4runner so only paid taxes against the difference.

 

I paid ~$27K for mine brand new (less ttt), less than 15 miles. I'd say keep shopping...

 

Actually Dealers use MMR, which is not accessible to the general public. They are an association that records ALL sales in said region of all vehicle type (assuming they had a sale).
