My truck with Spring TSB done (before and after)

They changed the shocks too or what?

 

Noup, according to the TSB they're not supposed to. 09 is not applicable.

 

Non TRD trucks are supposed to get new shocks. According to his print out, they did r&r the shocks.

yes they replaced all four shocks,i didnt ask why the fronts were changed but they are not bilsteins. rides much better and hasnt bottomed out yet

 

The load reduction sticker and the Leaf spring TSB are not related whatsoever. There is no correlation between the two.

'09 and '10 model year trucks already have upgraded shocks so they are not supposed to swap them out but it seems like the dealers are doing it anyway. The invoice on my '09 says the shocks were swapped.

Only '05-'08 non TRD models did and would get the upgraded Bilstein shocks.

I only put the billy 5100 up front, for the adjustable height.
The TSB put new shocks on the truck, mine is not a trd
so i got the same shocks as a trd.
So why waist money on replacing the rear shocks when i already go new ones.

dealer told me that depending on the vin number is what has been done already---not all 09/10 got what they said should have been done,thats why the changed the shocks,was susposed to already have been done but wasnt.
they seemed to have done everything needed cause it surely rides better and hasnt smacked down with stuff in the bed
