I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4.0 V6 4x4 6speed. I have 29899 miles on it. It started making a wierd ticking noise at idle then when shifting from 1st to 2nd I had a really bad metal on metal grinding noise. So I took it to Toyota. Well after 3 days they are now ordering me a new transmission and covering it under warranty. They also gave me a 2010 Toyota Corrola S to drive until my truck is fixed next Friday. The service people at Heartland Toyota in Bremerton,WA have been nothing but helpful the entire time. Just thought I would post a good Toyota story since all we seem to see are bad ones. I have had such a good experience with them in fact, that I am going to be trading in my wife's 2003 Eclipse and buying a 2010 Toyota Corrola S from them.
