Being a new Tacoma owner (3 days now..woohoo) and after scouring the forums for a possible answer I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on a stereo swap question? I want to replace the factory deck (6 cd changer non-JBL I believe) with something not too fancy but just better sounding.I have been looking at some Pioneer decks and I know I need a dash kit and a harness. Those I'm pretty sure I can get at a local audio store here (or at least ordered) but I am wondering will my steering wheel audio controls still work or is there something else I need to get?...I was looking at some other decks today and some said they had optional wheel controls..so does that mean I need to get one with that option?..Thanks so much in advance..:)

easy fix - go to Amazon.com & search for Pioneer double din units. They sell the hook ups to make the steering wheel controls work with an aftermarket Head Unit.
I was just looking at them last night.
