Check my rears (do I need TSB?)

Hey all,

Just wanted to check with some people and see what the consensus was on whether or not I need to do the TSB?

I've got some pretty nasty sounds coming out of the rear suspension when I add or remove weight from the bed. While it may not be directly related to this, anyone know of any fixes for it?

If I do need this done, how bad is it? I'm considering getting a lift in the near future, hopefully an OME setup, although I'm still bouncing around the idea of 5100's and a real AAL from toytec. The TSB shouldn't have any affect on that, should it? Any opinions on the better option? Just do some light wheeling in Oklahoma, nothing too special, and definitely no hardcore rock climbing or anything like that.

So, didn't see the year of your truck.
The main thing is does the truck ride well? Do you haul any stuff in the back about say 400 lbs? If you do you might notice the back end hitting the bump stops going over rough roadway, speed bumps, etc.. If this is the case, then you should definitely get into the dealer and let them know. Pull up the rear spring TSB and look at what the complaints were. Use that language when you are speaking with the dealership. A key word many have used is "harsh ride".
I had my springs replaced about the 2nd week I owned my rig. It really made a good difference in the ride. Firmer, more responsive handling, and yes able to carry larger load that it was designed to do. Rear end of the truck sits about 1 1/2 inches higher- not over noticible though.
