I'm going to set my 5100s @ 2.5 in the front, i have the 1/4 top platre spacer but I'm not quite sure if I will put it on also or not yet. I see on here were everyonr running 2.5 with spacer has new UCAs. Do you need new UCAs with every 3"+ front lifts or is it just a Billy thing? They help with alignement I know but is there any other purpose? My old tacoma had 3" spacer in the front and i never got new UCAs and it aligned back up just fine.

Helps get your alignment back to spec. 3" is a good rule of thumb.

I would say, anything over 2" may need different UCA's. ;)

"In spec" at the oposite ends of the range maybe. But 0* Toe, Camber, and 2.4* + Caster, Nope.
