Well after battling with transmission, clutch, and afew other minor problems on my truck I decided to get rid of it. I traded it in on a 2010 Toyota RAV4 4x4 V6. I plan on getting an older 4runner or toyota truck to be my offroad rig. Thanks for all the help and ideas yall have given me on my truck. I will still be hanging around.

My wife just got one of those in Feb. I would drive it, with the V6 thats a pretty quick little SUV.

I bought my wife a Honda CRV. She didn't like the wheel on the back of the RAV or the older model CRV, but she likes her miniSUV.

I drove it once and it is a nice little vehicle, but I wouldn't want it for my own daily driver.

The one I got is the Sport so it doesnt have the wheel on the back. I used to think that the RAV4 was a slow grocery getter but after driving it I like it. It is really quick. I wanted something that could haul passengers and my surfboard and that can pull a trailer for when I get my new offroad rig (looking at a 1985 4runner). It gets good gas mileage too.

Sounds like a nice runabout that can do a little towing too. Nice!

Yeah I know they are quality vehicles. I wasn't busting your balls or anything it was a serious question. I just don't think I could go from your tacoma to a rav4. sucks you had the problems with the taco though.

I thought I would have trouble adjusting too but the fact the the wife is allowing me to look for a rig that I can dedicate to offroad (a piece of shit I can wheel and not worry about it braking) makes it alot easier to adjust. I leased the RAV4 too so who knows in 3 years from now I may be back in a Tacoma. We will have to see.

I test drove the Rav4 Sport when they first came out and and they are damned quick! I think I scared the hell out of the salesman during the test drive. I ended up buying as used Highlander but I decided that I'm a truck guy at heart and traded it on my Tacoma.
