Two year complementary maintenance.

I took delivery, signed all the forums and wrote a check on 15 April 2010 in Fort Lauderdale. The two year complementary maintenance was said to be automatically added by Toyota (or South East Toyota Finance as I didn't ask specifically) and I should receive the paper work in the mail in five to seven business days. Basically I am asking if that sounds correct and if so does anyone have any experience with the maintenance program? It seems strange to me that there was no paper work that needed to be signed at the dealer due to the fact that everything under the sun did need a signature. I am going to be busy for the next 36 hours and don't have time to chase it down till Wednesday if the dealer was shady.

No...I signed a actual 2 yr maint contract on wifes Corolla S. I took all my papers with me that day regarding the maint contract. I do beleive this was for only existing Toyota owners. It was their loyalty program. Did you have a yota before your purchase?

 

They told me mine was complimentary as well.

i bought a truck in march, took about a month for the paperwork to come from toyota (not the dealer)

 

I purchased a new Taco this month & got the free 2 yr. maintenance plan with all the paperwork. I showed them my insurance card to prove that I currently own another Toyota.

 

I bought an FJ last week, after trading in my tacoma and I took home paperwork that showed me applying for the maintenance program. They said corporate would send me vouchers. Im gonna call back though now that I hear about your guys stories

 

Okay, because I was freaking out, I called a dealer in California (GMT 08 ) and asked one of their finance guys. According to him they are suppose to send it in the mail from Toyota, if you are not a prior customer. If after 30 days it does not come, to call your finance company or the customer experience line at Toyota.

I will still call my dealer and ask tomorrow, and add what my sales guy says, but it was eating me up laying in bed tonight and figured I could get a dealer on the West Coast just to make me feel a bit better.

 

I purchased my new Taco April 9. Got vouchers in the mail April 25.

 

Are you saying that 2 yr. maintenance plan is being offered to you even though you are not a previous Toyota owner? From what I understand, it is a loyalty program offer.

 

For the months of March and April of 2010 it is being offered to all buyers of new cars.

 

so could i have got this back in 2009 when i bought my truck? I had a corola before the Tacoma...dealer mentioned NOTHING about it

3 weeks after i purchased the 2010

 

no...just available this year.

 

This sucks......I bought mine in late February!! Wonder if they would grandfather me in?? Worth a try i guess.
