I read a thread a few months back about Toyota Bug Deflectors scratching paint or something along thoses lines and I cant seem to find it again.

Anybody have the Toyota Bug Shield? Any problems with it?

I found this one on trdparts4u.com Just wondering if its the same as factory or not.

I have the shield made by Wade, it is the Wade OE and it fits perfect I have not had any problems. I think the Toyota one uses metal clips and I did not care for that to much.

I have the Toyota model, been on my truck for 7 months now. They give you 3M stickers for the connection points where the bracket wrap up tight to the hood surface.Just clean the paint surface with proper cleaning agent,The stickers have not peeled nor has there been any paint damage.
