what does Tsb stand for?

    most of the time, so long as you are within the guidelines outlined in the particular tsb. for example the rear spring tsb stipulates 3 year / 36,000 miles. if you're truck is over that, then toyota does not have to fix it.

    TSB = Technical Service Bulletin
    Basically, it's a bulletin about a particular problem or repair that has occurred on a large number of vehicles (sometimes the TSB applies to several car models and years). These are pretty much exactly like recalls EXPECT that they are NOT covered by the manufacturer. However, there is a possibility of the problem being covered under warranty. Because these problems are not life-threatening or dangerous, they are not classified as recalls.

    You can look up TSB's on websites such as All Data or Mitchell On Demand. Websites that are usually not free. There are some out there that are free but I do not know which ones exactly.
