First Oil Change

    I'm not familiar with a 'ring style' wrench, or are you talking about the kind with the metal band?...if so i also broke mine trying to remove the filter initially and then i got the only type the parts place had...i'd call it more of a 'cup style'...that cups the flats on the filter....or is supposed to.

    Either way, i don't need one now as i can remove it by hand.

    soo what EXACTLY happens to your engine if you dont change out the oil on time? lets say you dont change it until about 5k miles after the time your suppose to change it?

    haha me too. The screw driver actually broke off inside my filter. Fucking piece of shit.

    I've done the screwdriver through the filter too....give you great leverage...

    Anyone know the phram oil filter number for the 2010 Taco with 4L engine?

    I'm at just under 2500 miles and want to do my first change early....
